（1）已完成的屋頂涂膜防水層應采取保護措施，以免被其他操作工序破壞。應在垂直墻面的屋頂涂膜防水層完成后立即鋪設保護材料；對于需進行閉水試驗的部位，應在閉水試驗完成并檢查無滲漏情況后，再鋪設保護層。若閉水試驗推遲則應采取一些保護措施。

（2）地下工程：在垂直墻面上采用聚乙烯泡沫塑料片材做保護層時，可在最后一道涂膜固化前，直接黏貼5~6mm厚的發泡聚乙烯片材保護層（四川人事考試中心），并要求拼縫精密，然后按要求回填土；對平面部位的涂膜外觀，可干鋪一層紙胎瀝青油氈作保護隔離層，并在其上澆注400mm厚細石混凝土作剛性保護層。

（3）廁浴間地面及立墻保護層：可在涂膜厚度達到規定要求并經驗收合格后（濰坊網絡公司），在涂膜外觀再涂一道涂料，并立即撒布少量干凈干燥的砂子，使其與涂膜屋頂防水層黏結牢固后（河南人事考試網），再涂抹水泥砂漿保護層。
